Welcome to the website for the athletic leagues of the Washington Recreation Association and the Washington Park District. This website is a collaboration of the two organizations to better inform our participants, parents, coaches and officials of the many different athletic sports that we offer.
If you have never logged on to the website before, go to the "Edit my Account" button on the bottom left, enter your email address that was provided during registration and hit enter without a password. A password will be sent to you. The email address must match with the one we have on file. If you are not set up in our system, you did not provide us with an email address, or you gave us a different email address. You will need to contact the Washington Park District to confirm your email address.
Coaches, players and parents should take a moment to edit their account.
While you edit your account, you will want to select to receive email alerts of important information as it relates to your team including schedule reminders, schedule changes, information from your coach as well as game cancelations due to weather. You may also receive text alerts if you chose.
You will not receive spam. We will only communicate the information that pertains to the sports and teams in which your child participates. This will include publicity of upcoming registration deadlines.

2016 Community Night with the Chiefs Scheduled for July 30
Mark your calendars! The 2016 Community Night with the Chiefs is Saturday July 30, 2016 at 6:30 PM. The night will feature post game fireworks and we are working with the Chiefs to secure several other opportunities for kids to participate in fun experiences that evening. As more details are finalized we will pass it along to you.
Baseball and softball registrations are being accepted now
The Washington Recreation Association (WRA) and the Washington Park District (WPD) are working together to offer quality youth athletic leagues to the community. To register for the baseball/softball leagues visit the Park District office located at 105 South Spruce Street to complete the necessary paperwork. The ICC softball team will be hosting a softball clinic at the CougarPlex on the Illinois Central College campus on Sunday February 28 from 12:00-3:30 PM. Girls in grades 3-5 are invited to work with the ICC players from 12:00-1:30 pm and girls in grades 6-8 from 2:00-3:30 pm. Instruction will include pitching, throwing, fielding and hitting. The clinic is free. To register please call Jean Escue at 444-9413 ext 104. Registrations for the clinic fill quickly, please register early.
WRA will be hosting two basketball academy nights for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls currently participating in the In-House League. We encourage coaches to bring their entire team to these two events.

The focus will be fundamentals, though we will play some small sided games.
We hope to continue to field a competitive WRA girls program in the fall 2016 that will include 4th grade (interested 3rd and 4th graders will participate in the tryout), 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade girls teams. Please consider getting your daughter and family involved!

Coaches Needed for Spring Age 4-12 Recreational Soccer
SOCCER COACHES NEEDEDfor the 4&5, 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, and 11 & 12 year old recreational spring Washington Park District Soccer Leagues. Coaching spring soccer requires 2-3 hours per week of your time between the end of March thru mid-May. Please consider volunteering to coach and make a difference in the life of child. The Washington Park District is accepting registrations for the ICSL soccer league – Legends Travel. Games are played on Saturday in communities such as East Peoria, Morton or Washington. (games could be played in other area communities as well). The ICSL league is designed for the player who is looking for a higher level of competition.
Players interested in the Legends Travel league must complete a Washington Park District registration form and an ICSL waiver. If you did not play in the fall of 2015 a birth certificate and photo are also needed at registration. Registrations and the necessary paperwork must be in the park office by February 29th. No exceptions. Please include shirt size when registering. The fee is $60. The following leagues will be offered: U9, U10, U12 and Jr. High. Coaches are also needed.
