Softball is coordinated by the Washington Recreation Association with the help of the Washington Park District.
Softball registration information can be found in the winter brochure offered by the Washington Park District.  Recreation League is for girls who would like to participate in organized summer ball.  Leagues are offered for players in grades kindergarten thru 8th grade.  If not enough players register in the Pee Wee League to form a minimum of 4 teams the Pee Wee league and Pixie league will be combined. These leagues are run by WRA volunteers and volunteer coaches.

Games are typically played at Lincoln Fields at Washington Park, Washington Middle School or Oliver Thomas Park.

Games are typically Monday-Friday but some games are played on the weekend under the lights or when make-ups have to be scheduled.

Practices begin the first of May and games typically begin the Tuesday after Memorial Day.  Season will typically conclude by mid-July with a tournament.   This timeline depends on weather.
